The ChoirBAFTA award winning, The Choir follows the highs and lows of the ever patient choirmaster, Gareth Malone as he tackles, in his usual head-on way, the task of teaching pupils how to sing. Over the course of a series, Gareth takes his choir through an extraordinary set of challenges and a fascinating set of characters emerge to become deeply engaged in his latest choral project.

In previous series The Choir, Gareth has proved that singing can take a group of kids who never sang before all the way to the Choir Olympics. He has proved that boys can sing, take pride in it, and perform at the Royal Albert Hall. And also, that singing can lift the spirits of an entire community.

The Choir has been described as one of the most moving, enthralling, and uplifting reality series yet made, that shows an exceptional person trying to do something worthwhile.
